Project Manager - Community Engagement & Planning

Trey Joiner joined the TC2 team in 2022 as the Lead Community Development & Engagement Planner. He is a forward-thinking, community driven transportation professional with eight years of experience in various areas of transportation planning and design. His passion is finding ways to modernize practices of the design approach that build upon a foundation of engagement, racial equity, and justice. Trey’s specialties are in urban planning/design, community engagement-relations, government relations & administration, multi-modal design and data-driven analysis and evaluation.

More About Trey: 

• His childhood nickname was Pretty Ricky (so named after a R&B group in the early 2000s)
• He loves playing tabletop role playing games, and his current favorite is the Lancer RPG
• He loves to bike, walk and longboard around his neighborhood in South Minneapolis
• Bachelor of Political Science/ Urban and Regional Planning with concentration in ArcGIS/ University of West Georgia
